General Notes
Revetaur responds to magic damage and weapon skill damage from a player with two types of
Doom
abilities.
Job Ability
damage will not trigger.
Trusts
will not trigger.
Pet damage to include abilites, skillchains and magic bursts will not trigger.
Damage over time that has no initial damage on cast such as
Poison
will not trigger.
Enspell
and Rune Enchantment will not trigger.
Uses Chthonian Ray which inflicts
Doom
on multiple targets in a long conal area.
Chthonian Ray
Doom
cannot be removed
by any means and cannot be averted by turning away or breaking line of sight.
If Revetaur dies, any
Doom
status will be removed.
Chthonian Ray has no effect if target is already afflicted by
Doom
.
Can force NM to use Apocalyptic Ray by casting magic of the day's element to apply
Doom

The safest method to defeat Revetaur is to rely solely on auto-attack damage, debuffs that do not cause damage in log, pets and trusts.
This only applies to low DPS groups. Revetaur can be killed before Doom kills anyone in high DPS setups.
