Carols increase Magic Evasion against specific elements. These spells do stack, so stacking Fire Carol and Fire Carol II would give the best protection against Fire that Bard can offer.
- Tier 1 and Tier 2 Carols work in a slightly different way, with Tier 1 Carols being purely resistance (starting at 80) and Tier 2 Carols being both resistance and a chance to annul the related element (starting at 100 resistance).
- This resistance also works against status ailments of the correct element of the active Carol.

- The maximum Carol bonus available from equipment is +9.
