General Notes
  • Has high damage, but moderately high delay.
  • TP attacks such as Beatdown can one shot a DD or mage.
  • Has access to Hundred Fists. Which he can use multiple times per fight.
    • During Hundred Fists, he will gain an Avoidance aura. Take care if using a blood tank like PLD as they will be unable to block with his/her shield.
  • Normal melee attacks has a chance to absorb your buffs. Continuous use of Magic Finale and Dispel highly recommended. This becomes exacerbated during Hundred Fists with a non-blink tank.
  • Does not have access to Counter.
  • Optimal set up: NIN x2 & SAM w/ Healing/Support Trusts. Have Samurai open SC with Tachi: Gekko and both Ninja closing with back to back Blade: Hi for double Darkness. Fight should not take more than 2-3 minutes with this set up.
  • Susceptible to Blind/Kurayami, Slow/Hojo & Paralyze/Jubaku debuffs.
