An embodiment of one’s chi shaped as ball, this ability fires forth energy, which unlike a normal attack, cannot miss.

Notes

• Chi Blast cannot miss and is impossible to resist, though certain monsters may take greatly reduced damage.
  • It can be absorbed by Stoneskin and is affected by Phalanx.
• This ability does not cause user or target to gain any TP.
• The damage formula for Chi Blast is as follows:
  • DMG = floor( floor( MND × Rand ) × ( #Boost × BoostIncrease% + 1 ) )
    • MND is the player's MND stat
    • Rand is a game determined number between 0.5 to 1.0, represented to least to 10-bit precision
    • #Boost is the number of times the player has boosted
    • BoostIncrease% is the percentage increase in Chi Blast damage given by each Boost usage. This is always 4 times the percentage increase in Attack given by Boost, so without any enhancing gear Boost will give +12.5% Attack and +50% BoostIncrease%.
• Does Spirit Damage (aka Breath Damage and sometimes called Non Elemental damage or propertyless damage).
