General Notes Similar to Abyssea NM Briareus. Standard Gigas TP moves plus Mercurial Strike randomly does 111, 222, 333,... up to 1111 damage followed by another TP move or ability dependent upon the damage (see Briareus page for more information). Two damage resistant DDs with Earthen Armor/Sentinel's Scherzo make short work of him. Uses Trebuchet. Used some strange TP move called "raise" in the DATs after killing someone. Cottus Adversary Type Beastmen Family Gigas Job Class Monster Resistances A: Absorbs · S: Susceptible · R: Resists 100% denotates that a monster takes full damage. Tiers of 50% or less guarantee a spell resist.
