Richter Karst is the President of the Republic of Bastok, elected in 882 CE. Though considered unpopular (and unfriendly) by many, it is believed that he won the Presidency though the support of Chief Engineer Cid. During his early career as a Senator, he is credited with rebuilding the city with stone instead of wood after a particularly devastating fire.
He has one child, daughter Cornelia. It is unknown how his wife perished.
