|notes=* Upon activation, a certain amount of the player's current HP (12-17%) is deducted and the Wyvern's HP is restored. The Wyvern also gains a [[Regen (Status)|Regen effect]] similar to when a [[Beastmaster]] uses [[Pet Food]].

** The percentage of HP deducted from the player is constant, even if the Wyvern can't be healed for the full amount.
** Spirit Link may not be activated unless the Wyvern has less than 100% HP or [[Empathy]] is merited.
**Regen Potency = Player level/3 per tick. 90 sec duration. So 33/tick at level 99 for 990 total HP recovered.
* Spirit Link removes all applicable DoT effects such as [[Burn]], [[Poison]], [[Requiem]], [[Dia]], [[Bio]], and [[Doom]] all at once regardless of how many you have active. If you have Dragoon Empyrean hand armor, such as [[Pel. Vambraces +2{{!}}Peltast's Vambraces +2]] equipped, it will additionally remove 2 effects that are able to be removed by [[Erase]] as well as [[Blind]], [[Silence]], [[Paralysis]], [[Curse]], [[Petrification]], and [[Amnesia]].

* If the player has [[Stoneskin]], the HP from Stoneskin is deducted first. The rest of the HP is then deducted from the player's current HP.
** Stoneskin wears off if it can not cover the whole HP required.
* Transfers half of the Wyvern's TP to its master.
**The corresponding Armets do not increase TP transfer.

* With merits in [[Empathy]], Spirit Link may be used to transfer buffs and EXP (200XP per merit level) to the Wyvern.
**The wyvern caps levels after 1,000 EXP.
***For example 4/5 empathy will level the wyvern up four times in one Spirit Link.
**Everytime the wyvern levels up it will receive a 4% attack and defense boost and the [[Dragoon]] will receive 2% [[Attack Speed|Job Ability Haste]].
***Attack and defense boost cap at 20%
***Haste caps at 10% after 5 wyvern levels.
****If the wyvern is defeated/dismissed, the Dragoon zones, or enters or starts any instance then these buffs are removed from the [[Dragoon]].
