|width="50%" valign="top"|Imperial Standing (IS) is the [[Treasures of Aht Urhgan]] version of [[Conquest Points]]. Players gain Imperial Standing by participating in various [[Treasures of Aht Urhgan]] activities or by killing monsters in Aht Urhgan areas while under the effect of [[Sanction]].

===Additional Notes on Imperial Standing ===
* You can only gain Imperial Standing in the [[:Category:Areas#Aradjiah_Continent|Aradjiah Continent]]
* IS equates to roughly 10% of total exp earned under normal circumstances, however the actual rate of this will differ under certain conditions.
* IS can be exchanged for [[Imperial Currency]] by speaking to [[Ugrihd]] in [[Aht Urhgan Whitegate]] at (G-9)
* [[Shajaf]] in [[Aht Urhgan Whitegate]] at (F-8) will exchange certain key items for IS, which allows players to access a set of [[:Category:Battlefields|battlefields]] known as [[:Category:ISNM|ISNM]]s
* The most common use of IS is as payment for teleportation access via [[Runic Portals]]. To buy the key item necessary to traverse a portal, speak to [[Sharin-Garin]] in [[Aht Urhgan Whitegate]] at (L-7)

== Receiving Sanction Effect ==
In order to gain Imperial Standing, you must have the effect of [[Sanction]] which is provided by the following NPCs.
