*All avatars as well as [[Carbuncle]] use their respective 2-hours and are immune to [[Stun]].
*Each elemental has an additional effect enfeeble associated with an ailment of its element.
*All elementals can transform into their associated avatar. However, if killed in the correct order only one avatar must be defeated.
**An elemental will transform into the associated [[Mystic Avatar]] of the same element when the elemental of the element it is weak to has been defeated. For example, defeating [[Water Elemental]] will transform [[Fire Elemental]] into [[Ifrit]].
**In order to avoid fighting all but one of the avatars, after killing the first elemental, you must continue to defeat the elementals in order of reverse strength (counter-clockwise order on the map). For example: after killing the [[Water Elemental]], the [[Thunder Elemental]] must be defeated next. Using this strategy only the last mob will spawn an avatar.
**It is suggest to defeat the mobs in the following order : [[Water Elemental]] > [[Thunder Elemental]] > [[Earth Elemental]] > [[Air Elemental]] > [[Ice Elemental]] > '''Mystic Avatar''' ([[Ifrit]]).
*[[Carbuncle]] links with the [[Light Elemental|Light Elementals]] and vice versa; however, you can [[Carbuncle]] pull (or sacrifice pull) the [[Light Elemental|Light Elementals]] separately.
** Because of the double light weather in the area, [[Carbuncle]]'s [[Searing Light]] may occasionally do exceptionally high damage. Forms of magic defense/magic taken, light resistance, or other damage reduction are recommended.
** Note: Carbuncle has exceptionally high damage taken resistance upon first entering the zone; this is progressively weakened by defeating the six elementals/avatars scattered around the zone.
*When Carbuncle and the Light Elementals are defeated, the final item crate will spawn with completion contents in the center of the area.
