An index of synthesis recipes that either do not have verified recipe caps or those listed are contested.

The best known method for verifying recipe caps or subcraft caps is as follows:

Attempt the synthesis while remaining engaged. You will receive one of two messages:

*One will say you cannot do that action now.
**This means you are within the 27 required levels to attempt the synthesis. Your level + 27 = sub craft cap. You will not attempt the synth and you will not lose the items.
*The other will say you do not meet the level requirements.
** If you receive this message, then the synth requires a sub level of 28 or more than your current skill level.

So depending on how many recipes your ready to help fill in the info on you would make a list of the synth. Then try them with the above method and if you get the "do not meet the level requirements" you would know your sub is too low. And once you got a list big enough for you, you level your sub once and try again until you get the message "cannot do that action now". Once you get that message you will know the sub level cap for that synth (27 higher than your current one).

For recipes with assumed caps lower than 28, one would have to spam the synthesis until they stop receiving subcraft skillups for a number of synths. The subcraft cap should then be 11 levels prior to skillups ceasing.
