** Ranged and melee weapons have slightly different [[fSTR]] functions.&lt;br /&gt;
* Weapon Skill Secondary Attribute Modifier (&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[WSC]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;) (only for WS Calculation)&amp;lt;br /&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
For normal attack: &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Base Damage = [[Weapon Base Damage|D]] + (aD) + [[fSTR]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;lt;br /&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
For [[Weapon Skill|weapon skill]]: &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Base Damage = floor(([[Weapon Base Damage|D]] + (aD) + [[fSTR]] + [[WSC]])* [[fTP]])&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;lt;br /&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
This value is then multiplied by the Attack/Defense Multiplier, [[pDIF]], to arrive at the actual damage.&amp;lt;br /&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;

For players with [[Thief]] as their main job:&lt;br /&gt;
*base damage on a [[Sneak Attack]]ed normal hit is calculated as &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Base Damage = floor(D + [[fSTR]]) + Total [[DEX]].&lt;br /&gt;
*base damage on a [[Trick Attack]]ed normal hit is calculated as &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Base Damage = floor(D + [[fSTR]]) + Total [[AGI]]&lt;br /&gt;
*base damage on a [[Sneak Attack]]ed [[Weapon Skill| weapon skill]] is calculated as &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Base Damage = floor((D + [[fSTR]] + [[WSC]])* [[fTP]]) + Total [[DEX]]&amp;lt;br /&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
