General Notes Cast high level water-based black magic, including an instant-cast Flood. Summons two Shen's Filtrates approximately 45~60 seconds after being spawned then retreats into it's shell. At this point it becomes far more difficult to defeat as the regen effect is very potent. It is possible to defeat Shen before this with an alliance of strong melee DDs ready to zerg it down. Otherwise, a BLM magic burst setup is recommended. Shen's Filtrate are water elementals which share hate with Shen and also have an instant-cast flood. Filtrate may be silenced and slept. Filtrate are resummoned after being defeated. Shen is immune to Paralyze, Stun, Blind, and Requiem. See the Discussion page for published testimonials.
