Dark Ixion

General Notes Dark Ixion naturally spawns in a state so that players cannot act upon it. By successfully hitting Dark Ixion with a File:Stygian Ash icon.png Stygian Ash, dropped from Pixie type mobs, it becomes open to engaging in battle. Will run away if a Campaign Battle begins while Dark Ixion is in the zone. If respawning into a zone where a battle is taking place it will immediately spawn at the end of the battle. Will run away if a player gets too close without using the Ash. This means you cannot follow the NM, Nexus Cape to the person who found it, and claim. Make sure your camper can claim it. Spawns and roams in certain parts of the zone. Check FFXIDB for each zone to find where to camp/scan for it. See the Discussion page for published testimonials.
